We all wish we could take back something we said during an interview. That is why it is so important to prepare in advance, practice your stories and be ready for the tough questions.
Here are some things you don’t want to say:

1) When can I take a vacation or can I work from.home. Avoid any discussion of perks until you have an offer in hand.
2) What is the salary or  or when do you give out raises and bonuses?  Never talk about salary until you are offered the job.  If they bring up salary postpone the discussion until you are more familiar with the details of the job.
3) I need to get home by 6 to take care of my kids or pick them up from day care or take care of my sick mother.  When they ask about family, which is illegal, you can say that your family obligations will not interfere with your job
4) When asked why did you leave your last job, never say I left my last job because I did not get along with my boss.  Never say anything negative about a previous boss company or colleagues.
5)  I am a workaholic  This might sound good but it is trite and not genuine. Besides, everyone needs to keep a balance between work and life outside of work.
Remember: Think before you answer a question. A slight pause will help you gather your thoughts.
