Finding a job is not easy.  It is not a sprint that takes a few weeks.  It can take months or up to a year or more. How did I do it?

I worked with a career coach. We met once a week for 5 months.  Every week I had an assignment. First I wrote up all my accomplishments, my best stories, I showed result in the form of money earned, time saved, increased participants and course creations.  Then I worked on a pitch to sell myself in a short 2 minute or 60 second commercial. Then I created a list of companies, non-profits, associations and universities where I would like to work.

In the meantime I worked with a temporary agency that got me two interim positions (full-time but no benefits).  In the meantime I was working with my coach.
